Franchise Process

7–10 Days

Step 1: Review

Program Review & Pre-Qualification: During this beginning phase, we engage in conversation about how you’ve heard of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. We also ask why you’re looking into a franchise opportunity, and what life experiences or skill sets you feel make a good fit for the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system. We discuss at a high level all of the milestones in the process, as well as the expectation of being part of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise family. We discuss and explain the financial qualification requirements, why we have them, and ways for financing the business opportunity. After your initial call with our Franchise Sales team, we’ll schedule two additional calls with you. The second call with be with our Franchise Development Director and third will be with subject matter experts to address any questions or concerns you may have.

7–10 Days

Step 2: Application

Request for Consideration: This is an application that allows you to put words into action. Where do you want to be in five years, both personally and professionally? Will you be involved in the business? What are your goals and aspirations when owning a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise? We look at territory availability, types of ownership, and diversification opportunities we offer at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.

14–30 Days

Step 3: Acceptance

Franchise Disclosure Document Review: Here, we educate you on the foundation of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, what the Franchise Disclosure Document represents to you as a possible franchisee, and us as a franchisor. We lay out the expectation of what you’re required to do, and what you can expect from us as the franchisor. We typically give you a full week to review the document and write down any questions you might have. A follow up phone call is then scheduled to go through your questions in detail.

Franchise Validation: As a franchisee prospect, you are requested to engage any and all franchisees that are in the system, or those who have left. We want you to learn from the franchisees about who we are as a franchisor, and what they do as a current business owner. Contact information is provided to you on all franchisees, and email introductions can be made upon request.

30–60 Days

Step 4: Planning

Business Planning: We’ll provide you with a business plan template which includes geographic information and maps for planning and market assessment. This is the longest stage, in which several conversations take place about the opportunity. We will work to ensure various team members are also part of the conversations as needed to help refine your business plan with you. The vision of where you want to go in the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system is created while insight, opportunity, and business knowledge is shared and gained. The support we offer relates to five key areas businesses share - leadership and management, sales, marketing, technology, finance and human resources.

14–30 Days
