A Job That’s Never Finished: The History of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

Nearly 40 years after two high school students were moving people’s belongings around the Lansing, Mich., area for some extra cash, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is still going strong as a brand!

It started with  two brothers – Brig and Jon Sorber – and has grown into the first and largest franchised moving company in the United States, with more than  430 franchise locations in 48 states and across Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Founder Mary Ellen Sheets knew she had a good business model when it was just a local company in mid-Michigan during the 1980s, but it’s now a household name in the moving industry with no plans of slowing down.

A commitment to offering quality service, a dedication to our customers, and a desire to constantly innovate and bring more to the world of home moving have kept TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving forward through the decades. But to understand how we’re so successful now, you have to look at the journey it took to get here.

To learn more, we present: A Job That’s Never Finished: The History of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.

Enjoy!
