Among many of the details you read when researching a brand is the team who will offer training, support, and continued guidance throughout your franchising journey. Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, our Franchise Development and First Gear and Field Training teams will be your main contacts throughout the process of opening your first TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise.
These team members joined our brand with years of experience in the world of opening and operating franchises – both within our brand and with others – they’re here to help you succeed!
Franchise Development Team
This is the team you’ll communicate with regularly from your initial inquiry all the way through the purchase of your first TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise.
Pamela Batten
Pam’s first position with the brand was as a franchise development specialist where she was the main point of contact for people who were interested in franchising with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK.
She has continued working on the Franchise Development team ever since, and now works with existing franchisees that are looking at expansion as well as candidates outside of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system who are interested in franchising.
“New franchisees can expect that we will be very transparent with the information we give, and that we’ll never be too pushy to close a deal. It’s crucial to us that potential franchisees are a good fit for our brand, and conversely, our brand is a good fit for them. We want to make sure they ask as many questions as possible, and we will connect them with other team members to review all areas of the business so they have the necessary information to determine if this is the right opportunity for them.”
Cheryl Ackley
Cheryl has been with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in a variety of roles, including time as a customer care specialist and a sales consultant. Prior to joining TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, she was a franchise owner herself of two hair salons for over a decade, giving her a unique perspective on both sides of the coin for franchising.
Her current role as franchise development specialist is to engage with potential candidates and ensure they understand the opportunity and process, guiding them down a path of success for their career aspirations and for the brand.
“We work hard to make sure that each potential franchising candidate knows what to expect as a new franchise owner. From the understanding of our core values to everything that goes into franchising with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, each step in the process is a layer. We have a very knowledgeable team who supports potential candidates in every area, knowing some people are more comfortable in certain aspects of the business, and may need a little extra support in others.”
Tray Doster
Tray joined TWO MEN AND A TRUCK in 2023 to assist new prospective franchisees in their journey to business ownership. Franchising is Tray’s passion as he serves on the board of The Atlanta Franchise Business Network (FBN) and the International Franchise Association (IFA) Membership’s Board. Tray earned his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation after graduating from the IFA program in 2014.
Tray views the role of a great franchisor and business partner as a handshake-to-handshake mindset. This enables a franchisee partner to join, grow, and retire from their business while allowing them to build their legacy and enrich lives along the way. His experience includes assisting franchisees with joining a brand, site selection, expansion, and resales.
“The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise opportunity is incredible! Many of the reasons I wanted to join this amazing brand are probably some of the same reasons a prospective franchisee may want to join the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK family. It’s a recession-proof business model with award-winning franchisee satisfaction, incredible year-over-year sales, additional revenue verticals, and tremendous white space for our new and existing franchisees to grow their businesses. It is my pleasure to help our new prospective franchisees through their journeys.”
FIRST GEAR & FIELD TRAINING TEAM
The TWO MEN AND A TRUCK First Gear and Field Training Team will be your main point of contact after you open your first location, customizing a training plan to fit your specific needs to get your operation up and running efficiently and safely.
Michael Arietta
Michael’s career with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has given him a wide-range of roles in several parts of the business – both from the corporate and franchise levels – so he’s well-versed on getting you on the right track as a new franchisee. His main goal? To help move you and your business forward.
“Our field training team has more than 20 years of combined experience across all aspects involved with running a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise. We have moved furniture, we have answered sales calls, and we have lived through both the mistakes and successes that come with running a franchise. We use this first-hand experience to help you navigate the challenges of starting a new business.”
Tyler Trierweiler
Tyler’s role as a member of the First Gear team is to serve as a main point of contact for franchise teams during the startup phase of their franchises. Working closely with the franchises, Tyler assists in turning a business plan into a functioning, operational moving franchise. Tyler has several years’ of experience with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, working for two years as an intern before becoming full-time for the last four.
“When it comes to me working with new franchises, they can expect a high level of enthusiasm, communication, hard work, and dedication each time they speak with me and the team. I want to support the franchises in becoming the best they can be each and every day, and that’s my number one goal when communicating with their teams.”
