Franchise Fees: What’s Normal, What’s Not, and What You Need To Know

Franchising is a great way to immerse yourself in the world of business ownership without the stresses and grind of starting a new business from scratch.

There are plenty of very successful franchise business owners who have taken their entrepreneurial mindset, drive, and work ethic and paired it with an established franchise model, using the combination to grow their franchise location territory and see a great return on investment. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has multiple success stories like this, as our franchise model is built specifically to help you succeed.

With any franchising brand, there are initial fees required in addition to ongoing franchise fees throughout the duration of your investment. These cover your ability to continue using the brand name, its trademarks, all resources, and services associated with the brand, and anything else related to the overall company. It’s a small price to pay for a proven name of success, and it allows you to work within the framework of an established model to find success.

Below, you’ll find the general range of franchise fees required to franchise with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK:

Franchise fees: $30,000-$85,000

Royalty fees: 6% of gross revenue

Additionally, there are additional investment costs required of new franchisees to open their first location. For our standard franchise location size, the startup costs range between $164,000-$435,600. For our Mod markets – a plan for market areas with smaller populations – the startup costs range from $105,000-$242,100.

These initial investment costs cover a wide range of very important business details, from your training as a franchise to insurance, six months of working capital, licensing cost on local and national level, insurance, and much more.

Nine out of 10 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchisees have said they would invest again with the brand if they were given the opportunity, showing just how strong the franchising model is!

“Franchising with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK gives you the ability to run a small business with the support of a very caring system,” said Josh Payne, a multi-unit franchisee with locations in Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, and Texas. “The revenue and profit potential in comparison to other franchising opportunities is incredible. When you add those things with the ability to truly help people and make a difference in the community, it is an opportunity everyone should look into.”
