Mini Market

Two Men And A Truck Partnership

A franchise model with minimum financial investment

Explore multiple investment opportunities

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s traditional investment model requires an investment of $150,000 in liquid assets for a marketing territory consisting of around 420,000 people. We understand the traditional franchise model is not the right fit for every prospective franchisee, which is why we’re excited to announce our new mini-market model.

Mini-markets will help you enter territories with populations ranging from 75,000 to 200,000 people, which is much smaller than the normal franchise reach. Mini-markets allow franchise owners the flexibility to work with less staff and trucks in areas where there is still a demand for high-quality moving services.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® looks forward to extending company reach into areas that do not have the population to meet our definition of a standard marketing territory, but still have population that could benefit from the services of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.

Mini-market requirements

Starting a mini-market franchise will require a minimum financial requirement of $80,000 in liquid assets and $160,000 in net worth, down from the normal franchise requirement of $190,000 in liquid assets and $400,000 in net worth. Estimated initial investment range is anywhere from $95,000 to $272,000.

While traditional franchises are required to operate 2-3 trucks, mini-market franchises will only be required to operate with one truck at the date of their opening. Mini-markets will receive the support of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Customer Relationship Center to help book and schedule moves. They will also benefit from the Home Office accounting support teams’ month end reconciliation services and month end financial statement reports.

The first two mini-market locations opened in the state of Montana in April 2017, and there are currently more than 120 open mini-markets available across the United States. To learn more about available opportunities, please contact TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s franchise development team.
